What IS "Philanthropology"?

Registration is open for EPIP Seattle's first Philanthropology (c) Workshop: Understanding Social Justice Philanthropy.

Some of you might be asking, "What in the world IS "Philanthropology?!"

Philanthropology is EPIP's unique grantmaker education program. Philanthropology "provides EPIP members with peer-based and inter-generational professional development through workshops, Web and print resources, partnerships and ongoing programs. Participants will gain: an in-depth orientation to the foundation field; resources to help you take up your role and manage the paradoxes of philanthropy; and a safe space to learn about the complex relationships between foundations, donors, grantees and social change."

EPIP Seattle is excited to be able to offer this day-long professional development workshop to Seattle's next generation of grantmakers. We hope you'll join us on March 26, 2009!

Click here to be redirected to EPIP's website to register. Registration is only $35 for EPIP members, $50 for non-members.
