The Economic Crisis & its Impact on Communities of Color: An Interactive Forum

Here's a great opportunity from the People of Color in Philanthropy Network:

The Economic Crisis & its Impact on Communities of Color

Time: 12pm-5pm - lunch included
Location: The 2100 Building, 2100 24th Avenue South
RSVP to: Sarah at the Social Justice Fund office

On May 8, the People of Color in Philanthropy Network will convene a forum about the current economic crisis and its particular affects on people and communities of color. The goals of this event are to address the root causes and current dimensions of the economic crisis, understand how structural racism is connected to the economic crisis and the disproportionate impact of the crisis on funding in communities of color, and to explore the impact of the crisis on funding and to help members gain knowledge and language to influence funders.

This event is co-sponsored by the People of Color in Philanthropy Network and the Institute for Policy Studies.

Suggested contribution of $25. RSVP to Sarah@socialjusticefund.org.
