PLACES Fellowship Program

The Funders’ Network for Smart Growth and Livable Communities (TFN) is accepting applications and nominations for the second class of its leadership development program designed for emerging professionals in philanthropy. This year-long fellowship program will offer tools, knowledge, and best practices to professionals in philanthropy that can enhance funder grantmaking decisions in ways that are responsive to the needs and assets of low-income neighborhoods and communities of color.

Fellows will develop:
  • An in-depth knowledge of how decisions about growth and development relate to issues of race/ethnicity/class;
  • Tools and resources to help them increase their effectiveness as grantmakers;
  • Exposure to best practices of grantmakers working in this field;
  • Leadership development and skill building opportunities; and
  • Expanded networking opportunities.
For more details and the application, email epipseattle@gmail.com and we'll forward on the information.
