2009 has been an exciting year for EPIP Seattle. Besides becoming an officially recognized chapter, EPIP Seattle held our first Philanthropology workshop on social justice philanthropy, hosted four happy hour/networking events at local restaurants, and organized a Careers in Philanthropy Lunch Roundtable with Ann Kelly from the Global Philanthropy Group.
Our Steering Committee has grown to include 9 individuals representing seven organizations, and we are looking forward to planning a exciting and diverse range of programming for 2010.
We'd like to ask that our Seattle-area members help us to ensure that our programs are helping to meet your needs! Your comments will be extremely helpful as we move forward.

The Seattle chapter of EPIP is working to develop both educational and social events that are tailored for the next generation of leaders in philanthropy. Our Careers in Philanthropy Lunch Roundtables, Philanthropology workshops, and social events are designed to build a sense of community among new grantmakers in the Seattle area.
